Girl Talk Program

An eight week evidence-based program for young women, developed by CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) that includes discussion and education about self-esteem, body image, relationships and dealing with stress. The girls who participate will have the opportunity to express themselves through different artistic projects, discussions, activities and guest speakers. The main purpose of the group is to increase connections girls have among themselves and provide a safe space to promote positive mental health.

Team Unbreakable Youth Running Group

A twelve week recreational youth run group to promote a healthy mind, body and spirit. The run group is about improving physical activity and overall well-being in a safe and friendly environment. Run coaching, weekly check-ins and mental health and wellness education is provided. All abilities welcome.

UNBREAKABLE. This one word simply describes how we want youth to feel; our goal is for them to feel strong and resilient. We want to give them the tools and resources that instill the confidence to overcome the many challenge that they are facing; to be "UNBREAKABLE".

Youth Wellness Presentations

Provide health and wellness education and skills based workshops to classrooms in local area high schools. Topics include: sexual health, healthy eating, procrastination, stress management, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, coping strategies, and sleep.

Emotions Management Group

A 6 week support group for young people to help foster coping skills to deal with emotions and better manage stress. One of the main goals is to increase connections between young people and to provide them with a safe space to express themselves.

Mental Health First Aid-For Adults Who Interact with Youth

Date and Time: TBD- based on community interest

Description: This 2 day certified workshop teaches you how to ask better questions, recognize warning signs earlier, and builds your confidence to have better conversations with our youth.

Cost of Program: FREE when offered in partnership with CGMH education grant supports (limited funding), other course offerings may have a fee of $75
